Mardi Gras
Wow.
With an overwhelming amount of support from within the group and the general public, Sydney Gaymers marched in their first ever Mardi Gras. The amazing dedication that went into costumes, float construction and showers of glitter could be felt beaming off the faces of everyone there. Everyone gave their all and a little bit more and the love got shared right back with us with the crowd cheering and shouting out encouragements.
It’s just been on one year now and the group continues to grow and be loved by everyone who joins. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this group to what it is today. It’s a proud time to be a Sydney Gaymer!

Sydney Gaymers has now established a community bank account and has set up a PayPal account to receive donations.
All donations are non-profit, and go directly towards funding Sydney Gaymers activities, such as: hiring function rooms for events, web and game server hosting, and towards participating in the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras 2013.
With your donations we hope to expand the Sydney Gaymers group to do wonderful things in 2013 and beyond.

Sunken Balls Pool Meetup
Hard balls and long wooden objects were just too tempting for the Gaymers to give up as we bravely ventured outside Oxford Street to visit Star Bar. We had our own area which was really nice and allowed us to have our first group meeting about where the group is going forward. After the formalities, there was much drinking and some really great pool match ups. We of course still played card and board games and generally nerded up the place until it was awesome.
